Return and Refund Policy

1. Eligibility for Returns

To be eligible for a return:

• The item must be unused, in its original condition, and in the original packaging

• Proof of purchase (receipt or invoice) must be provided

• The return request must be made within 5 days of purchase

Certain items may be non-returnable, including:

• Custom-made or special-order items

• Used or installed products

• Clearance or sale items

 

2. Non-Refundable Services

For services provided by Vartec Industrial 2015 Ltd:

​

• Completed services are non-refundable

• Deposits or call-out fees are non-refundable once work has commenced

• Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled service may not be eligible for a refund

 

3. Damaged or Faulty Items

​

If you receive an item that is damaged or defective:

​

• Notify us within 5 days of delivery

• Provide clear photos and a description of the issue

• We may offer a repair, replacement, or refund at our discretion

 

4. Refund Process

​

Once your return or refund request is approved:

​

• Refunds will be processed to the original payment method

• Processing time is typically  10 business days

• Shipping or handling fees are non-refundable unless required by law

 

5. Exchanges

​

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need an exchange, contact us at quote@vartecindustrial.co.nz.

 

6. Return Shipping

​

• Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item is faulty

• We recommend using a trackable shipping service, as we are not responsible for lost returns

 

7. Consumer Rights

​

This policy does not affect your rights under applicable consumer protection laws, including New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act
